September 26 1934- August 22 2023

Fern passed away peacefully August 22, 2023 in Coquille Oregon at the age of 88. Though a private person latter in life ,she relished the time spent with family every chance she got.

Fern is survived by her brother Victor K. Phillips of CA. daughter Shari I. Hammond of Fernly NV. ,sons Michael and Randall Lucas of Coquille Or. and many other step children, grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her husband James E. Lucas, her parents Robert S and Alma C.M. Phillips, a son Charles Robert. 8 siblings and 3 grandchildren.

Her free time was spent mostly outdoors until her health wouldn't allow it anymore. She loved watching the wildlife of Oregon and spending time at the beach whenever possible.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

A gentle soul who will be missed.
