Vanessa Jorene Goodwin

March 6, 1992 – December 20, 2017

A Celebration of Life will be held for Vanessa Jorene Goodwin, 25, of Coos Bay, at 3:00 PM Saturday February 3, 2018 at Hauser Community Church. Pastor Bill Moldt will officiate. Cremation rites have been held under the direction of Nelson's Bay Area Mortuary.

Vanessa was born March 6, 1992 at Clackamas, Oregon, the daughter of Dennis and Tonya (Kirby) Goodwin. She passed away December 20, 2017 at Coos Bay as a result of an automobile accident.

She was raised and educated in Coos Bay. After high school she worked at Domino’s Pizza and then as a Bank Associate for Rogue Credit Union at the Bandon Branch.

Vanessa loved being a mother, and she enjoyed spending time with her daughter Caroline, her fiancé Tim Tyree and his sons Aydyn & Wyatt and family and friends. She could light up every room she entered; she enjoyed sports and especially her “Ducks”. Vanessa had recently posted on her Facebook page “Going to go back to being goofy and not caring what anyone thinks life's too short to take yourself that seriously. I love dancing around all wild, I like making stupid jokes, I enjoy skipping through the store. Screw it, the happiest me is the real me. I say the wrong things, I'm loud, I wear my heart on my sleeve. No more shame in my game. I never want to apologize for being me again.” She was loved by all who knew her and she will be deeply missed.
